MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Grandpa and I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I pray that we will all have a wonderful year with happiness, peace and safety for all of our family that is spread out all over the world. We have so many things to be thankful for, especially our family and for the gospel and that we are citizens of this great country, even with all of it's problems it is still the greatest country in the world. We love all of you so very much. :)

Happy Anniversary Jill & Joel

Jill and Joel were married December 21, 1994 in the Salt Lake Temple. We held a reception in their honor here in Salt Lake that evening. Then we all traveled to Canada the weekend after Christmas where another reception was held for them by Joel's family. The weather was just like it is today, alot of snow and cold. CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!! on 14 years.

Winter Wonderland in South Jordan

Dad had to break out the snow blower today. We got 3 more inches of snow and more on the way tomorrow. The forecast is for a big snow storm tomorrow starting at about 10 A.M. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. :)

Family Home Evening with Becca & Nicky

We got to tend Becca & Nicky on Monday night while the rest of the family went to the Hale Theater to see "The Christmas Carol". We had a good time with them. We played old maid, hide the timble, made gingerbread boys, put together a big puzzle, and they watched Grandpa play his guitar, and they also had a turn on the guitar. Becca played "Jingle Bells" with Grandpa's help.

Dylan & Kinlee decorated our Christmas Tree

We tended Dylan, Kinlee, Kaitlyn & Christian on Friday night. We had a good time with them. Dylan & Kinlee decorated our Christmas tree and I think they did a good job. We played doubles, old maid, put a puzzle together, and made gingerbread men. The pictures didn't turn out as good as we had hoped but we wanted to put them on anyway. Kaitlyn and Christian had a good time playing on the floor. Christian can crawl very fast and can even stand alone for a few seconds. I predict that he will be walking before he is one year old.

Our new great grandson, Luke !

Grandpa and I were able to see and hold our great grandson, Luke last night for the first time. He is extremely cute and sweet, not to mention he smells great also. Brandon & Camille are a bit sleep deprived right now as we all know what an adjustment it is for new parents when they bring the baby home from the hospital. We were remembering how it was for us when we brought little Luke's grandmother, Ellen home from the hospital. Brandon & Camille are going to be wonderful parents. What a cute little family. We were also able to see the nursery first hand. I thought it was fun to see how they have his little jackets and hats hanging up on the pegs on the wall in his room. :) CONGRATULATIONS!!! to the new parents and all the grandparents.

Happy Birthday Grandma Kendall

Today is my Mother, Hannah Morley Kendall's birthday. She would have been 91 today. She is 21 or 22 years old in this picture. It is in front of her Mom & Dad's house in Moroni on Duckspring Drive. It is a white adobe house and is still standing. Mom was an excellent seamstress and an even better cook. She always had cookies ready for when anyone came to visit. She would make them and my Dad loved to hand them out to everyone. She died on September 28, 2007. I miss her more than I thought I would. She taught me alot of good things.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Grandpa & Grandma Anderson want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for. A wonderful family and good health. Today we learned that we are the proud Great grandparents of a new baby boy. Brandon and Camille got their new baby yesterday. He weighs 10 lbs. and 4 oz. and he is 22 inches long. Ellen forwarded some pictures and he is just as cute as we had imagined he would be. Congratulations Brandon and Camille!!!!!!!

Since we are having winter weather already, we thought it would be nice to remember what a beautiful fall we had this year. The leaves were especially colorful and we really enjoyed it. This photo was taken in the parking lot of our church only a week ago today.

Happy Birthday Blaine. Since you wouldn't post pictures for you own birthday I thought I would post some from the past and also some very recent ones. In the first picture he is only 5 years old. The second one is of the day he reported to the MTC to begin serving his mission. The third one is of the day he returned home from mission to Washington D.C.

Isn't this a cute girl? Dad and I are guessing that she is about 10 or 11 years old. If this isn't right, Jill can make a comment and tell us what age she was. We sure have great looking kids and grandkids, and we are not prejudice either.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA KENDALL

Grandpa Weldon Kendall was born on October 26, 1913. He would be 95 years old today. He was about 21 years old in this picture. He and Mom would have been married 69 years this coming January. He never ran out of good jokes and little poems to tell. He was a Great Dad.

Happy Birthday Daniel. This picture was taken in August of 2006, just about a month before Daniel went on his mission. Grandpa and I hope you have a very happy birthday today. Also congratulations on getting the job at the Portland Temple.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREAT GRANDPA ARTHUR ANDERSON

Great grandpa Arthur Anderson would be one hundred and eleven today. He was born on Oct. 23, 1897 in Fountain Green. He was a tall handsome man, that was soft spoken and kind. He always had a quarter in his pocket to give to the kids. He was a sheepman, trucker, mink rancher and farmer.

Grandpa has been checking out the old photos again. We think he is about the same age as his son Matt.

PROGRESS ON THE NEW TEMPLE IN SO. JORDAN

The New Oquirrh Mountain Temple is coming right along. It is scheduled to be finished some time next March. I will be very glad to work in the new temple, since it is only 2 miles away.

Dad is still looking through all of our photos and came across this good one. He asked me to put it on our blog. I think she is about 9 or 10 years old in this picture and probably in the fourth grade with Miss Cook as her teacher.

Dad was looking through our pictures yesterday and came across this picture of a cute little girl. He asked me to put it on the blog. She not only is cute, she has on a coat that we really liked. I think she is about 7 or 8 years old in this picture. Look for more pictures from the past of our other kids coming soon.

More scenes from the weekend

On Sunday we hosted a party for David and Daniel at our house. It was the usual Turkey BBQ. I, for one had a great time. I think everyone else had a good time also. The only ones of our family that couldn't be here were Ellen, Russ and Ryan serving in Mexico City and Tyler serving in Italy. You will be able to see more scenes from the weekend when Blaine has time to post them on his blog. The last picture that I posted is when we were playing, "Pretty Bird My Cup".

A GREAT WEEKEND

Daniel came home from his mission on September 17th. The Fitt family all traveled down to Salt Lake for the weekend. There was a Open house Party to honor Daniel on the completion of an honorable mission to Florida, and to honor David for his call to serve in Australia. The party was held at the home of Brad's sister Stephanie at the top of the mountain above Draper. Here is a picture that Grandpa took looking out over the valley from Bob and Stephanie's home.

THE LAST TEN YEARS HAVE GONE BY FAST !!!!!

It is 10 years ago today that my Dad passed away. What a great father he was. I love him very much. He was kind, funny, generous and especially loved all the little kids. I think about how he would love all the little great grandchildren that he has now, what a fuss he would make about how cute and great they are. Merril and I have had 6 missionaries go into the field since Dad has been gone: Chad, Brandon, Daniel, Tyler, Russ and Ellen. Soon to be followed by David and
Ryan. We are so proud of our whole family. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful family. We love everyone of you.

A Visit with Brandon & Camille

We were happy to have Brandon & Camille over for a little

BBQ and a great visit last night. As you can tell all three of

them are looking good. We were hoping to have more kids

over at the same time, but it is turned out that Brandon and

Camille were the only ones that could come and it was very

good to have a one on one with them. They were able to

take the baby basket home with them. It is the basket that

all of our 4 kids and our 15 grandkids have slept in, so it is

only right that our great grand child will get to sleep in it also.:)

GRANDPA TAKES A TRIP DOWN TO THE FARM

The weather has finally cooled off enough so that Grandpa could enjoy going down on the farm and riding on his four wheeler. He had a Great day. He rode down to Moroni and visited with Garth and then over to Nephi for a visit with his brother Forrest. We are both enjoying this wonderful fall weather we are having. We just hope it lasts clear until November.

GRANDMA THEORA ANDERSON'S BIRTHDAY

One hundred and twelve years ago today Dad's mother, Theora Christensen Anderson was born
in Moroni, Utah. She was a special lady, and had a very great sense of humor and was generous
to everyone. When our kids were little and we would go down to Fountain Green for the weekend she would always say to me, "What have I got that you want?" She meant every word
of it. She had a great love for all of the grandchildren, especially the young babies. I often think about her and know that she would really be thrilled with all the grandchildren that
we have now. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREAT-GREAT GRANDMA ANDERSON!!!!!!!

The Anderson Family Reunion was held Saturday, August 23rd at a park on South Mountain in Draper.
