New Couch, Loveseat & Chair

We sold our old couch, loveseat and chair on KSL.com yesterday, and here is our new furniture and pillows. We had that old set for 20 years, it didn't ever wear out, we just got tired of it. We had it in the family room down stairs on Loyola Street for a long time and it didn't get much wear. This new set is like the one we had in St. George: a couch, loveseat and rocker recliner. It is really soft and comfortable. It is upholstered in stain-resistant microfiber and I am really thrilled with it. Sure will be glad when you all get to come and see it and sit on it. :) The rocker recliner is over to the far left.

Update on the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple

The New Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple is just about complete. They will be having open house starting on June 1st until August 1st. The dedication is scheduled to take place on August 14, 2009. I drove past it this morning and it looks beautiful. All the trees are planted and the grass is growing and was being watered as I went by. This picture is one I got off the internet showing how it will look when the trees mature. I have the priviledge of making a white shawl for the new temple. I have 1 month to get it done. I will also be priviledged to work in the new temple in August, and I am thrilled. :)

DANIEL IS ENGAGED!!!!!!!

Our grandson, Daniel is engaged to marry Jessica Cushman in the Jordan River Temple on Saturday, August 1st, 2009. Paula took this picture when she and Sarah went to visit Daniel at BYU Idaho in Rexburg on March 23rd. They got engaged on Saturday March 28th. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Daniel and Jessi. We are very happy for you both.

SPRING IN UTAH !!!!!!!

We woke up to 4 inches of snow this morning. This poor little daffodil is going to have a hard time in this weather.

Dad had to shovel the snow from the sidewalk, but it is a very wet snow and will probably melt fast.
