One More Picture of Dad's trip to Fountain Green
This how it looked as Dad was driving home north of Fountain Green and looking toward Mt. Nebo. Notice the beautiful fluffy white clouds.
Grandpa Went to the Farm on Monday
On his trip down to the farm he also went to Fountain Green. This is his Grandma Anderson's house that is at the south end of town. He has many memories of going down to her house to milk her cows and cut her lawn when he was a boy.
This is his old Junior High School that he attended. It is now the City Hall.
This is the grade school that he attended. Notice that it was built in 1907 and it still looks very sturdy. Four Spanish families bought it and are living in it now. It looks plenty big for 4 families.

This is a good picture of the Buckskin Hill, where Dad and his brothers and his father would always get a deer many years ago when his father was still alive. Dad rode his four-wheeler all around on the farm. He said it was extremely dry and dusty and lots of grasshoppers. The sage brush is really taking over and is very tall.

The Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple Was Dedicated yesterday
Grandpa and I attended the dedication of the new temple yesterday morning. It was a very spiritual meeting. They had a choir from our area that sang. President Monson gave the dedicatory prayer which was very good. President Uchtdorf was one of the speakers. Elder David A. Bednar was also one of the speakers, and he also led us in the "Hosanna Shout". Before the dedication started, the primary children from our stake sang songs as we watched a slide show of the interior of the new temple. At the end of the dedication, the choir sang ,"The Spirit of God like a Fire is Burning," all of us in the congregation joined in singing with them. It was so beautiful and I got tears in my eyes just to hear it and to know that members of the church all throughout Utah were also singing it at the same time. This is just my second time to be part of a temple dedication, I got to go to the dedication of the Jordan River Temple in 1981. It is something that you never forget. I'm thankful that we could go.
